Okay I wasn’t expecting to cry from taking this fresh box of Lodima out of the box it shipped in
A box of Lodima (reproduction AZO paper) from Smith - Chamlee Photography with a printed note saying “You are receiving our Lodima paper under the brand name Lupex, which is how it is marketed by the manufacturer in Europe. Since Michael passed away, I am unable to continue the previous large-scale production and shipping arrangements alone. Lupex and Lodima are the same paper, and the "Universal" designation on the box is grade 3. Many thanks for your order!” And then a hand written note thanking me by name (which I have redacted)

For my own sanity, did a phone snap of the now sleeved sheets. The possible light leak really does look the same on all of them, I shifted over a foot for the right two so its definitely not an overlooked object

I'll check the bag bellows for pinholes after work today.
Four sleeved 4x5 negatives, roughly inverted, showing the edge of the Appalachians. In the same spot on all four of them is a pattern of 3 white aberrations from hopefully just easy to fix pinholes in the bag bellows.

Hmm, all four sheets have that same 3 blotches in the exact same spot even though I repositioned the entire tripod after the first two sheets.

The bag bellows has a patch on one corner seam, so maybe this is from that or there’s another pinhole in it?
A freshly developed 4x5 negative of the Appalachians but with 3 marks from possibly a light leak?

This felt like the most “is it pictures?” because I was shooting through very reflective glass, in between hordes of kids, on a slightly inclined smooth cement path with the shutter wide open at a quarter of a second.

There was a decent sized obstruction in the viewfinder of this that I wasnt sure if it was dirt or fungus. I changed my plan to honestly just extract the pentaprism from the one dude bought and transplant it into the donor camera, fix the donor

That obstruction was desilvering lmao fuck
The missing pentaprism from above’s pic. Looking into it you can see a bright white line in the center which is from my lamp shining into the lack of silver on that gross top edge. That has remnants of black foam. Just leeched the silver right off while it decayed

Hoo boy, the slow speeds dont work, the high speeds sound off, there’s a crack in the focus screen on the side facing the mirror, and a crack in the mirror itself

The cheapest K1000 I picked up from Used Photo Pro to use as a donor camera is honestly in better condition minis bad viewfinder fungus
