Just an incredible answer on being a Jewish leader and working across differences in New York City — especially after October 7.

Thank you, @bradlander.bsky.social.

The new Metro newsletter on the mayor's race is really, really good.

Could the NYT be resurrecting and teeing up an Ed Board endorsement later this month? 👀

I biked over the Williamsburg Bridge today, as I do most Mondays.

Usually car traffic is bumper to bumper to at least a third of the bridge entering Manhattan.

Today, there was definitely less traffic and less of a backup.

Phil Murphy could have gotten NY to put hundreds of millions of congestion pricing dollars toward NJ Transit investments but decided instead to endorse climate denialism and put all his eggs in a bad faith, last ditch lawsuit. Sad.
MTA tells me even with a New Jersey judge asking for a couple of specific extra explanations from the FHWA, New York is still clear to begin congestion pricing on January 5
