I've seen a lot in my life and have become pretty jaded. But what I just saw made me physically sick. It's been embarrassing for a while now, but now it's just unbearable. #ukraine

Not sure what the punishment should be, but if you're listening to the best part of a song in the car, that is not the time to talk.

I seem to collect Roman Emperor Gallienus coins. This one has a great reverse with two captives on either side of a trophy. It was minted in Lugdunum (modern day Lyon in France) in 258 - 259 A.D. Gallienus co-ruled with his father Valerian until the elder was captured by the Sasanian Empire. #roman

@dancarlin.bsky.social Back on the discussion about what leads to the "daddy" issues we're seeing in some of the electorate, I was looking at Erich Fromm's The Working Class in Weimar Germany. Interesting study of 1930s Germany at the family level. To oversimplify, taught to obey over think.

The reason DOGE will be found to be deeply hated by the masses is because people already spend 1/3 of their lives experiencing the cruelty of greedy billionaires maximizing company profits. They will not tolerate it in the remaining 2/3 of their lives.

@markhamillofficial.bsky.social Can you confirm or deny, the return of Luke from Ancho-To was a political decision, and Luke was in fact stranded by the resistance leadership?

Maximinus Thrax ruled for a brief 3 years, and his reign marked the beginning of the "Crisis of the Third Century". Upon his death Rome saw the "Year of the Six Emperors". Turbulent times.
