Like, im not gonna say I wont buy ANY AAA games for the next 5 years, I might do, but I'm certainly gonna be even more wary & never ever buy anything the year it comes out until this shit is dead & gone. If the cynics are right & this is universal atm, I'll just wait & weigh my options!

Its becoming in increasingly clear that the reason for the GodFallRealmRise sci-fantasy artstyle existing before genAI is just that this attitude existed before the tools to crap it out on command was necessary.

Because Russia's sphere of influence is in their ballpark. The US is much better at exercising proxy power & twisting local elements to its whims, but just as much of the world closer to Russia is being done dirty in the same ways by their agents. Maybe im overestimating their capabilities, tho.

The idea of a Gith, a species who pretty much all see other sapient species as little more than subhuman, ever getting over that enough to stop being a stuck-up dick when told to not do what they think is best is just so silly. Chomskyism has a painfully strong hold on younger GenX & older Millenial "lefties" & it drives me nuts. Empire is empire, American, Russian or Chinese! They all suck in different ways & Russia is easily tied with the US!
It’s a shame that this is what most “socialist” discourse looks like in the UK. No grounding in reality, no attempt to engage with expert discourse, just lazy contrarianism to drum up clicks.
