this is how I, a resident of LA, found out that the Palisades fire was arson, that they caught the guy, and that he used gen AI to work his way up to doing the crime

Given how vague they report stuff in Portugal about democrat opponents to this, he would easily land just as much of an antagonistic press treatment, down to getting a countdown to when he gets arrested and then getting a Trump talking head her own spot for everything else but to talk up his points.

Then again he was born a few years ago, a computer screen in let's say 1989 isn't as this weird wonder as it was in 2025. I doubt a small child would be like "what the..." at Prince of Persia or Another World.

My nephew spent a while in my house and just sat on my computer chair, spinning around. Part of me considered turning on the computer and turn on the rgb on keyboard for him, but given he didn't seem to give much a damn when I did a round of Omelet You Cook (or anything really) like a bad choice.

An update from Freida Parton so it sounds like Dolly isn't well, but she's not *that* unwell. Still at 79 any illness isn't good so I'm still hoping she's fine because she's clearly got so much to give still and makes the world a better place just by being in it.

It just felt like if I was reading about the habits of american furries in some newspaper in a particularly boring spot in Lisboa going "Huh, these americans are up to matters beyond me, now to see what animal people I can draw for them." and saying that as a furry with nearly a couple decades.

That being said, I don't see ForFun as much of a brand as much as a speciality boutique, since they mostly started as a kink latex and rubber shop with a play studio of some sort in Bangkok, and their petsuits were just something that they tended to get commissioned a lot.

And while some people confused me as someone who is all about furry pride, I saw it more a constant weird reassurance on trying to acknowledge as being "normal" or "self aware", which at some point it just tends to blow up on their faces in many ways.

I shown up in furry around the late 2000's and there was always this certain fear of being too comfortable about their position even by people who were fully immersed in it, either it be those "jailhouse gay" stickers in the early 2000's or an overeagerness in trying to get people to mock them...

The Freelance Astronauts, one of the earlier cases for a stream group, had this going on when one of them had an heart attack during a stream and when the audience freaked out, there was an actual debate on whenever or not the audience getting worried that he'd potentially die on camera was cringe.
