sadly, it's the worst guy imaginable 😔😔 he's truly nasty and i had ZERO fun writing him but i feel like i did a good job to convey his nastiness, and turned him into a good villain. idk what readers will say when they get to him 🥲

for a book about vampires who can't eat, BESIEGER has a lot of allegories and metaphors about food, scenes where the host is pretending to eat and drink, wine being spilled all over the place. there are appetites and tables set for feasts that cater to the daemonic needs in all of us 🍷🍽️

idk if you guys can tell but this is one of my fav scenes in the book, and the dialogue then did not need to be hørny on main but alas, these two have never been normal a day in their lives. rip the footman who's also in the room and is most likely underpaid for this type of tomfoolery🙂↕️🙂↕️🙏🏼
