Kid Koala’s new record includes a board game with pieces and rules he designed, and locked grooves on the record to signify turns.

He said he didn’t want the record to simply be a container for the music. 🤘

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

CW: protester being struck in the head by a pepper ball

Footage I took earlier of the moment Reverend David Black, a regular protester outside of the Broadview Detention Center, was shot in the head with a pepper ball by ICE agents on the roof of the facility.

This isn’t a hard-and-fast rule, but if a sentence starts with ‘per’ it’s usually a bummer.

The only "culinary experience" I want is to put the food in my mouth, then chew and swallow it — an activity that as far as I know is totally covered by the word "eating."

My 1.0 touring had till then had been almost all bargain basement motels. It was a revelation to learn that if you got a small group together you could go much nicer. And that you could be friends with other people doing the same, and have great gatherings.

That’s the one people stuck up for a lot, and which looks good on paper. Despite getting stubbed into 12th row center and having my first Clinic visit (including a brief exchange w/Fishman that to date is our only meeting), I never got much into it. But it looks like a revisit could be interesting

It’s really the only good show in the run; definitely the best jam.

We skipped Phoenix because the gentleman giving me my ride was fixated on spending a couple days at hot springs before Chula Vista. It was fine but the show was better.

The “we can’t say ‘lie’ because you can’t know intent” has always been a fig leaf, because they never then examine the implications of if he’s not lying but instead just lacks any understanding of what he’s talking about.
