I see some replies reasoning about how it might somehow be possible or how to respond to if it might have (it cannot have) but it all amounts to reasoning as if this was the first time in history anybody tried their hand at figuring out surveillance footage. it's a professional field older than I am
it would only make sense if surveillance footage was something people started to think about a few days ago and had never been tested in reality, as opposed to several decades of development in a field which as its most basic requirement has to be robust to tampering and mitigating unavoidable risks

famously when a company's entire business is providing hardware and software for surveillance footage there's absolutely no backup of any kind, because you see storage both locally and in the cloud is insurmountably expensive these days, you gotta watch it live or it didn't matter cameras were there

Get mad at things you have the ability to change or influence with that anger. Get upset at the people who should know better. Moralizing or pointing out hypocrisies -to Republicans- is ultimately wasted effort because their ego and livelihood rest upon them never admitting anything, or changing.

We've invented the greatest form of government in the world. Every election, we hold a gun to everyone's heads and tell them they're free to vote for whoever they want, but we start cocking the hammer if it seems like they might vote the wrong way. It's absolutely vital we preserve this system

And if you want to change these fundamental problems you have to think on a systems level scale and so voting third party makes sense for a variety of reasons

Your only plan for never having fascism can’t be “never let a fascist convince people to vote for them” when the media and politics in general are subservient to private interests. Understand this please

Everyone focusing on whether I voted or not (I did, from Maryland, just for a socialist candidate, it was inconsequential) is missing the point of the post. And as I said, doesn’t hear how they sound casting the blame on the people subjected to this fascism instead of the fascists and the rich

And it’s not about whether you should vote for the lesser evil or not!

It’s that you’re blaming the oppressed and exploited for things the exploiters are doing and for a system and institutions they didn’t build and don’t realize these institutions are doing what they were built to do.

The point of this post is that you are unable to analyze systems or institutions and have no theory of change. Please try to use your brain you have likely outsourced to a large language model of some kind
