Steve Baker prominently displayed the Vote Leave pledge to "give our NHS the £350m the EU takes every week" on his website during the referendum campaign.

It was actually £161m. He knew this but promoted the Brexit Bus lie anyway.

I am so tired of pundits saying he's a "great communicator". Based on what evidence? He's hopeless at dealing with any probing questions. He simply made a name by being willing to pander to the worst instincts of a vocal minority, and had an instinct for monetising that.

A teenage boy was walking home in Minneapolis yesterday when four masked men jumped out of a van & questioned him - with no parent or guardian present.

He was bundled into the van & taken away.

Bystanders heard the boy say: “Can I just go home?”

I don’t know how America comes back from all this.
