The U.S. strikes against the Islamic State in Nigeria followed President Trump’s threat to take military action to protect Christians from attacks by Islamic militants. Trump did not specify which attacks he was referring to, nor did he cite evidence for the claim that Christians are being targeted.
What to Know About U.S. Military Action in Nigeria
Before the strikes on Thursday, President Trump said he would halt all aid and go in “guns-a-blazing” to target militants.

If movie theaters were a thing consumers loved, they would be there. They go there for horror movies, some action blockbusters. Let me reiterate a line I wrote decades ago about the nascent digital space: Consumers have taken control of their entertainment experience & they are never giving it back.
The pandemic.
The strike.
The sale of Fox.

“.. Box office experts say 15 to 20 percent of regular moviegoers have simply never returned ..”

David Ellison appears to be mortified that CBS/60 Minutes is “going rogue” by covering the news and by keeping him “in the dark” about a segment critical of Trump.

Because Ellison doesn’t realize that’s how it’s supposed to work.

We found: the wealthiest 100 Americans gave $1.1 billion to influence the 2024 elections — 140x more than they did in 2000. And almost all of that giving boosted Republicans.
