The Cuomo playbook for progressive bills:

Step 1: Fight like hell to kill it!

Step 2: If killing it is no longer feasible, water it down as much as possible.

Step 3: When the watered down version passes, take credit as if it was your idea all along and it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Even before all his COVID mishaps and sexual harassment scandals Cuomo spent most of his time as governor working with the IDC to make sure that conservatives ran the state while holding back progressive initiatives. He was actually a terrible governor who stripped funding for CUNY and the MTA.

Also, how does this work with ordering gifts? If tariffs are charged upon delivery and not when the item is being ordered… my goal in ordering someone a gift is not to force them to pay a tax that may be more than the item cost.

Please amplify this demand. We need y'all. I was there. We were not in the road. ICE simply let loose on us to film themselves brutalizing and arresting protesters—and state police assisted them. They brought charges against scattered people to create a pretext for this inexcusable violence.
