Loves cats, the rain, books, making stuff, and mending old things.
Writes a bit, does some needlework, covered in ink and wrangles pain all the time. Will talk about Eddie the kitten, and Henry his predecessor at length.
That’s it!

I remember Penny Mordaunt saying ‘I understand very well what is in our national interest and it isn’t Aquind or Alexander Temerko’
There’s definitely something fishy there

Right? This author said she had been using it since 2021 and is clearly just churning out books because her readers apparently demand them every 2 months. It’s all so exhausting

Ugh, that’s the worst. I was trying to explain that when I had my meds review. I have nerve damage so there’s pain all the time but there’s also dozens of small factors that could turn a manageable day into an impossible one, and you need to keep track of them all - and only some you have power over

Oh no. It takes so long for your body to settle after you fuck up the meds too.
When it is all going well and it’s under control you forget that you are on a tightrope and at any moment the smallest thing can push you over. It’s like your body is a mob boss

The fact that there has not been proper outcry at the transformation of WH Smiths into TG Jones tells me everything I need to know about where this country is at now. I am old enough to remember the Choco Krispies protests of 1998.

Ikr. They were perfectly decent books and I would have read the other series, but won’t now.

My knees have always been an accurate indicator for rain, but humidity is worse than just rain for me which follows the theory of pressure fluctuations being an issue too. I forgot my lidocaine patches last night so today has not been fun, also answers why I was up at 3am feeling dreadful 🙄

There was some research done a while back and they discovered that people had higher pain when there was higher humidity, lower pressure, and stronger winds, which has made sense to me.
I wish my hips could have a day off!

I’m so sorry, I hope that it settles down for you. So many people, me included are having flares atm - it makes me wonder if it is a weather pressure thing that is making it all worse

You should be able to get their RAF records - from what I understand, they are very detailed. I did that for my grandads and it was very helpful. Strangely my great uncle was in charge of the storerooms in Porton Down and also went to Australia several times while serving 👀which I want to hunt down

Yes and infuriatingly the answer most times seems to be yes too
