Yes it's a lot. The Gabba is old and not a great long term option. A new stadium can service Cricket and AFL for the next 40 years.

Teal/Community independents rely on their massive army of volunteers more than money. The reverse of the Palmer situation. The decrease in funds which can be spent on a campaign will hurt but as long as the army of volunteers show up and support the election efforts I think they will be ok.
