Almost every game on switch with any sorr of aiming uses motion controls…
Hell even the switch barely uses motion controls anymore and nintendo were the uncontested winnera of the motion control race

Today someone told me that they unironically think rail shooters would be better with an analog stick than with a light gun. The dislike for motion controls is borderline pathologic at this point.

I beat Pseudoregalia. This game has some SERIOUS SHMOVENNT. Like, getting around places in the game feels great. Combat is smooth, and stylish. The N64 esthetic looks gorgeous. It reminds me of an N64 equivalent to mouthwashing’s artstyle
But, like, why is her ASS like that tho!? 8.5/10

Speaking of the game awards, I beat Baldur’s Gate 3 today(it was probably a bad idea to play that game in a year where I challenged myself to play lots of games but w/e)

I beat Parasite Eve this year. Its crazy how FOCUSED Square is was on RBGs during this time. They say the success of Resident Evil and they thought “Lets RPG-fy it!”
Looks great for the time. Good music. Love the characters.

Man, the hype was REAL. This game is fantastic. I have a brother that’s around the same age as the kid brother in the game and boy did it make me feel some feels.

If u were significantly bothered by the motion controls in games Like Mario Galax or DKCR, u played them wrong.
U heard “shake” and decoded to violently shake the wiimote like in a Wii commercial when a quick downward thrust would’ve sufficed. Sure its inefficient, but ultimately unproblematic

Man, its a good thing that first one had such good writing. It’s kind of a nothing burger gameplay wise. Still pretty decent tho. 7.5/10

I replayed Sonic Adventure 1&2. SA1 is a bit jank, but fun if you can tame it. SA2 is less janky, but AMAZING once you get used to it.
