It's funny when the local school lets the kids out for their morning run-around and they just SCREAM. It's SCREAMS carried up the hill on the breeze. Imagine if we still did that, went out of a building and screamed?

Aren't we all so pleased the libertarian deregulations started with the early childhood sector? Such a cool place to relax regulations. Such a makes-sense place to be a bit more lax about stuff. About $ome $tuff anyway <-- see what I did there?

Hoooooo the Altum Academy charter school website is finally live and the SNEER upon my face as I looked through its AI-art-riddled dog-whistling nonsense! those poor children

I am trying to formulate a joke about NZ Labour something along the lines of how they're not just centrist, they're mid. Is that something?

I just emailed the school board asking them to formally commit to honouring te Tiriti, despite the coalition's best efforts, let's do this

Honestly, the IPCA report into the police (mis)handling of the McSkimming case makes for jaw-dropping reading.

But it’s 135 pages long so I’ve read it for you.

Here’s my report on one of the most serious failures of integrity in modern policing history⬇️⬇️
The inside story of how police protected a senior cop, and prosecuted his accuser instead
For years, police leadership ignored warnings about Jevon McSkimming. The IPCA has set out the chain of failures.

My 8yo heard Taylor Swift singing about kissing today and said, very seriously, 'Hmm. Sex.' And I tell you what mate, I was so composed in how I coped with that.

Imagine seeing that people can't afford books and going the solution is to market them differently, not let's get people more money. Not let's improve the standard of living first. Hahahaha

I hope to not be annoying re. grammar/punctuation etc and I'm totally not perfect, but I hope one day the communications and media professions figure out you dont need to hyphenate -ly adverbs. Anyway sorry

I am so ugh in despair about the government. Leave the kids alone. I filled in last night a school questionnaire for the board and popped off about changes to the curricula and Ed. Act. Didn't realise the Act changes were happening today!

This is the intent. Forget whatever flowery words Erica uses. They want your child growing up in a NZ that is blind to its history. That’s not learning, it’s indoctrination.
