Aotearoa needs a left-wing government that breaks away from the neoliberal status quo.

We are the network that is pushing the Green Party into leading that next government.

A one-term right-wing government is not enough.

New Zealand's broken political system needs to change.

If only there was a political party that can deliver on progressive changes to Aotearoa's flawed institutions

ALL WITHOUT throwing our takatāpui and wāhine whanau under the 'political capital' bus to appease patriarchal donors and oligarchs.

#nzpol
This kind of behaviour really makes me lose faith in politics and institutions as forces for progressive change.
I know Andrew Little didn’t run as a Labour candidate but was backed by Labour, and this week it really appears the T&Cs to “Women Are Worth It”* are *when it’s politically convenient.

#NZpol Wow, Casey Costello’s announcement, 'Puberty Blockers Banned For Children', at NZ First is a demented, ideological rant 😠 Complete with passages in bold font.

It’s the sort of stuff I expect from anti-vaccine campaigners who’ve moved well past reason. (An area I’ve followed for a long time.)

It's so pathetic watching a multi-billion-dollar American corporation spending millions arguing that their workers are not workers,

instead of paying their workers with those millions they've wasted.

There's no sympathy in their laughable loss across multiple courts.

Now pay up Uber.

National doesn't care about rangatahi getting suitable, long-lasting jobs - or even getting into education and training.

They only care about jobseeker numbers going down.

And when that's the goal, nothing is more effective than inflicting austerity to our most marginalised communities.

“This Bill enables new payment models like subscriptions or post-payment, and allows private companies to offer easy, set-and-forget billing options - similar to how many of us already pay for power or streaming services."

Spinning late-stage capitalism as a benefit is insane policy making.

This puts the legal framework in place to sell off existing State Highways under the guise of corridor upgrade and maintenance contracts.

The press release headline should be "Govt readying roads for privatisation."

The Greens will repeal the Regulatory Standards Bill.

But ACT won't give up.

They will spend millions into fooling voters that free market capitalism is the only future left for New Zealand.

However, you can help stop ACT from getting even more power.

Chris Hipkins is not a socialist.

An agenda that keeps the neoliberal status quo is nowhere close to socialism.

That shouldn't be surprising, given that Labour kick-started the neoliberal reforms of the 1980s.

So who can hold them accountable?

Well... there's always the @greens.org.nz
