At one point, we had five dogs, five cats, four guinea pigs and a chinchilla in our house.

IT WAS A LOT.

The biggest was my gorgeous Great Dane, and the tiniest was our adorable chihuahua -- who was the alpha.

Yeah, there are some fucking crazy trainers out there. Super well-known ones too. We went to one who's somewhat famous and ended up stopping because we disagreed with his philosophy.

We constantly rescue, and my daughter-in-law is a vet tech. We actually have a dog that almost decapitated another.

Training dogs that are aggressive can be challenging, to put it mildly.

I know it's a contentious thing. Especially training methods.
