I served in the #PeaceCorps in #Nicaragua from 2014 - 2017.
I didn't know it then, but being #autistic made it a unique sensory experience for me.
Sometimes the music and sights could be ecstatic.
But somewhat more frequently they were overwhelming...

Conservatives have made Charlie Kirk a symbol in a manner which paradoxically exposes how thoroughly they have dehumanized him. How much he is not and possibly never was a real person to them. Even his own wife just sees his name as a tool. It’s ghoulish.
