I saw a woman yesterday who was about 70 ish. She was dressed so urban chic. Great Docs. Sassy oversized blazer. Crewneck sweater. Rolled up jeans. Amazing. I told her so. She blushed. Older women need to be told when they look hot, too.

I like this question. It’s a good one because you might still need the advice no matter how old you are.

This is one of the gifts of being older. You’ve been through a ton of stuff and seen the other side of it. So, whatever happens now, you know you’ll handle it like a boss.

Absolutely true.
November 17, 2024 at 6:17 AM
This could not be more true. And don’t let anyone tell you it’s too late or you’re too old…least of all yourself. My demon pal says hi, btw.
Life is short. Write that novel. Paint that painting. Try new recipes. Learn black magic. Go into the forest at night. Summon a demon. Earn that demon's trust. Become best friends with it. Brag to everyone else about your new cool demon best friend. Knit that sweater.

This made me chuckle. The sass of older women.
My great aunt was a soul friend, and she passed away in 2016.

I have her annotated cookbooks, though, and this one had me giggling and missing her so much. For someone born in the 1920s she sounded pretty modern here.
