The article focuses on autism but it's also true for ADHD. For many kids, the constant switching between subjects in school is very disruptive to their learning as well as dysregulating. I certainly find that true at work, so why should I expect it to be any easier for kids than it is for me?

I don't know if it is worth the effort for psychology to reclaim the word "Gaslighting", but a stranger on the internet who is wrong about something, and arguing from their incorrect position, is NOT gaslighting you.

ABA therapy itself harms autistic people—and mandates that trap autistic kids/teens in ABA make such situations even worse. Now Nevadans want autistic adults stuck in ABA until age 27. Ugh.

So a company, org or institution saying they haven't broken Equality Act 2010 in regards to a disability complaint is apparently legitimate enough to warrant they haven't done wrong even though its only their word, investigated themselves and despite the black and white evidence showing otherwise.
