Please educate yourself on the consequences that RPF can have for the people writing it, and the people it's about. Certainly don't suggest it, or suggest things like Self Insert x Real Person.

RPF is not flattering, healthy or safe. Not for the people writing it, or for the people it's being written about. One just needs to look at Supernatural to see just how bad things could get. Harassment. Slander. Threats. So many fandoms dealt with this, and we don't need another one getting weird.

Are you seriously rolling up in a filmmaker's SMs and saying you won't pay for his work but you'll consume it? Is this where you are right now? "Yeah I like your shit but not for a dollar."

I'm just finishing up A Letter To The Luminous Deep, and I was going to read The Prince Without Sorrow next, and it was already checked out! AND I'm still reading Gillg's Two Twisted Crowns as a physical read.

(Let's not talk about the 200+ ebooks I haven't completely gotten through.)

I'd replaced them with new holds, so having those new pop immediately too is a lot of books! I'm gonna have to the Return Early trick so I don't hold people back from getting them, but... goddamn.
