It's hard right now to shake off the doomerism but 2026 can't be another year I keep hoping that good things will happen or that I am powerless to help my neighbors.

I'm thankful for another year of arguing about whether half-vampires can exist with my wonderful husband who thinks undead supernatural beings are incapable of procreation. Happy turkey day🦃.

I was today years old when I picked up my first vinyl record. Really dig this album already, excited to listen to this once I get my player.

One of my favorite memories as a 90's kid is browsing the bargain CD bins at the record store and snagging music from bands you'd never heard of. Demo's, LPs from locals that broke up 5 years before, etc. My office can't handle another plant, so I guess I collect CD's now.

October is the best month here because it's perfect weather for watching a scary movie at the Drive-In. Caught two flicks yesterday, Black Phone 2 with the family earlier in the day, and Shelby Oaks for date-night.

Recorded on this day in 1978, The Feeding of the 5000, the first album by the anarcho-punk band Crass

A revolutionary album that was able to shine with anarchist political ideas and visions for the time

Wanted to do a Haunt this year for Halloween, Fear Farm ticket process was extremely dissappointing. Nickel and diming the General Admission, paying extra just because I want to show up before 9:30 on a Tuesday is ridiculous when you close at 10.

Tron: Ares, skip the movie, buy the soundtrack. NIN hard carried a lot of that movie with the score.

Most of my calls are great, but...why spend 20 minutes insisting the ridiculous AI summary gathered from 7yr old reddit posts, FB memes, and fairy dust is right and the specs and support articles for a service are all wrong? 🤦

I tried my hand at making hummus and baba ghanoush. I think they both turned out pretty good. Also from scratch here, pickled red onion and roasted kale.
