Tired, gay and spooky
Had the motivation to make scones with vanilla icing. First time using frozen currants from our garden this year. 10/10 would do again. #baking #bakedgoods

As a bisexual woman, trans people are part of my Queer family. But I also support all trans people in their transness because it's the morally right thing to do, and obviously so!

Whatever it takes, to the end of the line.
My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today.

If you are a cis person, quote this and say why you support trans people and what you are willing to do to support us if the government comes for us.

I don't create complex marine ecosystems in your landfills, so please don't dump shit in My oceans.

Last night I tried making mussels in white wine sauce for the first time, but the mussels were bad and my kitchen smelled horrible and I was left with nothing to eat for dinner. Yet I redeemed myself tonight with some scallops and risotto. New cooking fail to add to the list. #cookingfail

If I may also suggest, our article in American Scientist earlier this year (if you can't get past the paywall DM me) by me, @anthrofuentes.bsky.social, @cvansickle.bsky.social, & Catherine Clune-Taylor, intended for a broader audience.

Posting one of my favorite #organoid images for #microscopymonday. A 100+ day-old skin organoid with emerging hair follicles (ECAD, cyan) and endothelial cells (CD31, red). See: www.nature.com/immersive/d4.... Credit: Jiyoon Lee and Matt Steinhart from our lab. #devbio #stemcells

Wasn't sure what to put for my first Bluesky post. Then I found this in my albums. Here is one of my sons (Toby) screaming next to a harvest of our tomatoes.
