Tamir Rice, 12, was playing at Cudell Park in Cleveland, OH when he was shot & killed by a police officer. In his honor, his mother—Samaria Rice—founded The Tamir Rice Afrocentric Cultural Center—a community space for young people. A butterfly memorial was also installed at Cudell Park in his honor.
