Germany's Minister of Justice today: "Suspicionless #ChatControl must be taboo in a state governed by the rule of law." Private communication cannot be placed under general suspicion. "Germany will not agree to such proposals at the EU level."

Don't go spreading around misinformation just because you are annoyed at the state of things or don't understand how it actually technically works. The US Signal debacle was not caused by Signal but by human stupidity. You are helping them destroy your own rights.

Signal (the app) is built on the open source Signal protocol, which is used worldwide by people in oppressive regimes, whistleblowers, almost the entire cyber/infosec sphere, lawyers, etc. Where it is made is irrelevant.

And it is just one of the E2EE apps that are ACTUALLY private.

The problem with game pass price increases is you only have x amount of time to play games.

It doesn’t matter how much they add to it, gamepass already is more expensive than my usual game buying habits

I remember having a Windows Phone n being psyched when Cortana dropped. She didn't do much but was at least novel back then. It felt like I had the Halo Character in my phone.

CoPilot by comparison feels more like a stranger that forced its way into my house and tells me I cooked my eggs wrong.
