it's crazy hard work. i love it for short periods of time. as the manufacturing production manager i can pick and choose when i go help out, but i started in cultivation and have put my time in.

literally everyone just starts at the top of a plant and removes leaves all the way down (there's a technique for breaking them off so you don't harm the plant, it's much faster than snipping) and the leaves get hauled out in totes for destruction.

Our harvest is in full swing, and i am exhausted. allow me to present rows 35-37 of 60. Each row is 400'. The plants are fully defoliated in preparation for harvest. When i say we use a lot of trellis, this is what i'm talking about.
