I love tv like some people love books. I believe stories have the power to connect and inspire. I know they have the power to make us laugh. Join me for political commentary, tv recommendations, and maybe fun? I’m real!
Please let there be an @hbomax.bsky.social spinoff called “Gail” about post-apocalyptic therapy. I’d be all in. #thelastofus #lastofus

I have seen denials this easy since The White Lotus S3e6.
Wow — Mike Waltz on Fox News suggests Jeffrey Goldberg somehow schemed his way into the Signal group instead of just being invited by accident

Could it be?
Starting to wonder whether Hulu's PARADISE is to Trump's second term what Hulu's THE HANDMAID'S TALE was to his first.
Every word of this review. Paradise is a sly show.

This is a must-read for all my fellow... Pittsters? Pitt Pfanatics? Pitties?

Whatever: If you love this show, read this story.
The Pitt reached a new creative high with this week's emotional episode, the midpoint of s1. I talked with Noah Wyle, creator R. Scott Gemill, and producer John Wells about what's made the Max hospital drama so great:
Why Is 'The Pitt' So Great? Let Its Star and Creators Count the Ways
After Episode 8, the show's star, producer John Wells, and creator R. Scott Gemill, all 'ER' alums, talk about making the hospital show true to today.

And as it started I thought: whatever could this be? Is this by chance a Mulaney skit I had preciously missed? NOPE IT WAS A NEW ONE AND I WAS FLOORED.
Watching #snl50 special and I lean in and say “gosh I sure hope they reprise Diner Lobster” and immediately got a John Mulaney masterpiece.

I have not yet joined The Pitt Crew but I intend to very soon and I am happy for them
BOOM! The best new show of 2025 so far-- Max's THE PITT-- has been renewed for a second season. And if all goes to plan, we'll get that second season early next year.

Seven months between seasons? 15 episodes every year? In THIS economy? #Believe

I love #severance but I can’t stay awake at all while watching. The result is I wake up to scenes where I have no idea what is happening. It’s like… I’m severed?

Friends, TV-philes, mystery buffs:

I have a recommendation: Paradise on Hulu.

There is some Sterling K Brown fan service in there, but it’s also a compelling story. New episodes drop Mondays, but we are about 4 episodes in so far. Catch up so I have someone to “omg” with!

The world out there is crazy, but inside we watch good tv. I just binged the first for episodes of Paradise, and I’m all in. As this article’s title says, it’s “the smooth-brained dystopia” we all need. Spoilers within:

🧵 I live in Los Angeles. We have not had to evacuate and are safe, but like many people here, I have friends who have lost everything. I realize I can't combat the firehose (see what I did there?) of bullshit spewing about this disaster from internet and media sources, but I'll say this:
