Public attitudes toward same-sex relationships have changed dramatically.

In 1983, just 17% said they were “not wrong at all”. By 2022, it was 67%.

During the cost-of-living crisis, single parents were much more likely to need to borrow money than others.

In 2023-24, two-thirds of single parents with three or more children who were in receipt of means-tested benefits (like Universal Credit) borrowed money to help pay for things.
