Many things will affect how well a student will do in school. Some you can control, others you can't

One that affects every student (and teacher), and that we can control, is indoor air quality

In this video I walk through how and offer some solutions

It's Banned Book Week in the US, and here in Canada, we need to be standing up against censorship and defending the right to read. If you are a published Canadian author or illustrator, writing for kids or adults, please join Canadian Authors and Illustrators Against Book Bans.

It gives me immense joy when I discover an artist I admire has a Bluesky account I can follow. I’ve stopped following people on IG (won't see their posts anyway), and yes, I bookmark their websites, but this is my happy place to stalk people and their art :)

Out for a walk with a friend and we came across this frightened guy in Vancouver's Stanley Park. I hope he made it home ok. #stanleypark #vancouver #rewilding

Do you have a website? Then you don't need Linktree (or similar). Create a page to list your links and link that page instead! Put it on your Bluesky profile. Why? because you should advertise your own platform, not others (for free). And generate more visits to your website directly.

It’s the spooky season, and this author’s eye brings you a beleaguered leaf that the seven-year-old and I found on the pavement while walking to the park. According to my son, it’s a sad skull with a hole in his head. His own AEye is coming along!
