Not that this means YOLO, I’m no accelerationist, but they’re trying to send in the military to pacify my peaceful city & not let us have a say in how our taxes are spent & what kind of “union” does that leave?

Which is mostly nonpartisan volunteers? The only swing state under GOP control at the moment is New Hampshire I believe. It’ll be Democratic Secretaries of State overseeing the vote tallying where it matters most

The scenario described for polling places isn’t plausible. The other is an over a year out so plans to address it can be made.

You shouldn’t give up because someone was dooming on social media and people should be really careful about whether they’re spreading information or fear

Leaving that aside, cities will have at least dozens of polling places. ICE doesn’t have the manpower to do this in more than maybe a handful of polling places. IMO this isn’t a realistic fear.

I’m *much* more concerned with post-election attempts to throw out ballots or not seat new members.
