Sometimes, though, peaking behind the curtain is revealing in a way that isn't harmful to victims.
They definitely have rushed it, and I've pointed out some cases where they redact a thumbnail but then give us the full image unredacted, they have a photograph where they don't redact a mirror, etc.

There are other Epstein documents out there, unrelated to the new releases, that I found which do similarly poor redactions that 100% name otherwise unnamed victims.
It's not just modern DOJ/this release, it happens all the time, unfortunately.

If I had to guess, I'd bet there's a lot of lower tier civil society type targets in the same boat.
Especially in places where public services are not being funded especially well and their primary service isn't digital.

2010 onwards has just been a series of declarations that "DDOS is a solved problem" then new scales of botnets or types of target showing it really isn't.
