Very funny that Tony Blair, et al. lying about WMDs and dangerous rogue states has laid the groundwork for this IMO.

Reaping what you sow.
If you enjoyed this when it was “Muslim Bolsheviks are racistly menacing Britain with a return to the 1970s” then I see no reason why you wouldn’t now enjoy it when it’s the mad emperor’s court saying “Muslim Bolsheviks will seize control of Britain’s nuclear arsenal”. It is exactly the same shit.

The Epstein files have been updated and now include 193 GB of data and nearly 100,000 files. This includes the original version of DataSet 8 (with redaction failures), plus the re-released version.

One again, you do not need to read or respect anyone who writes for The Atlantic and furthermore, you shouldn't.
The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

Going to take a wild guess that whatever is behind this black bar, it's a password equally as strong. You can tell because it ends with "!", which is a special character and hard to guess.

Looks like the FBI were tracking Maxwell's phone with Triggerfish. I assume "DNH" is District of New Hampshire where she was arrested.

One of the strange details of her arrest, was that she was wrapping her phone in foil, maybe she suspected? (Doubt the efficacy of foil).

every time I load up nix repl with nixpkgs imported, I see this listed amongst the imported packages available lol

and it's not even the thing itself, it's a placeholder than just throws an error to let you know it was renamed.

Well, it’d be very Britain for this to be the country where she gets imprisoned for terrorism, and not anywhere else.

New from 404 Media: Flock exposed some of its AI-powered cameras to the internet. We know because we tracked ourselves with them. These cameras zoom in on passersby, sometimes so close we could read a random person's phone screen. Required no login to view cameras

In her Times column today about why she would send a Christmas card to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Libby Purves manages to slip in an even more horrendous paragraph:

In the style of the punchline "The Aristocrats!":

"The Free Press!"
It's gone. This story is being memory holed as we speak.

Got 2 paragraphs in to this NYT article presenting a very one sided version of recent Venezuelan history with many obviously elided facts and was thinking "My God, did the CIA write this?"

And it turns out...Pretty much, yeah.

I had a look at the removed files, almost all of them are of the pictures of nude portrait painting.

One is the photo of the drawer with the Trump photo, and one is an empty corridor (?).

Here also is a listing of the 16 removed files from Set 1.

weird redaction choices, the name is redacted in the, frankly distressing to view, photo book but not in the random holiday snap. I assume because the photo book is from the person named on the top.

This is a really strange choice to make, since everyone already downloaded copies of it.

Also all my homies hate PDF documents, this is probably (?) the cleanest method to extract the image files from the PDFs: pdfreader.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ex...

this next Labour "reset" seems desperate but Starmer may not go down in history as the least popular PM ever.

Todays interesting find, an (unclassified) TSA document on SLSH.

A quick look at the IPs and they're all Tor exits except for one, which really makes it seems like a waste of time listing them especially without that context. (37[.]19.221.136 isn't)

Do people like GenAI art and think "This looks good, actually" or do they not notice?

Because it always feels like a corporate compliance thing, where they know they should have some image there, but aren't actually interested in how it looks.

Just don't add a logo. This looks worse.

Bizarre for this article to end with a statement about a reported hack in 2014 that is not at all related to the article.

Searching the stream title gets hits for news-y sites posting the same. My guess is some WH staffer blog creds got popped and it was used to blast out a spam link to the stream?
