Tough ol' time for art sales of late and I depend solely on it for a living, so if you like anything I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for friends or family. If you hate what I do, I'd appreciate if you'd keep me in mind when buying gifts for enemies or nemeses.
If, like me, you did NOT get the ONE thing you wanted from Santy (a 95-year-old bachelor farmer with plenty land and a bad cough), treat yourself to a print from an Irish doodler instead - big discounts across the shop, including on bundles, so go on. Go on go on go ON.

If there's a problem with Thor: Ragnarok, then - as you can hear me and @brokenbottleboy.bsky.social discussing here - it's that if you set yourself a bar that high it's only going to lead to problems, especially if you try to match it by just repeating it...

The other side of this is that I just spent 40 minutes talking with her about Weimar Germany and her fascination with Gustav Stresemann and Rosa Luxenbourg.
If my parents came to pick me up from somewhere when I was a teenager I would absolutely leave on time. The bollocking if I didn’t would have been apocalyptic.

Why do I mention this? Well, I’m sat in a skating rink carpark waiting for my step-daughter and her boyfriend to emerge. Tik tok tik tok.

The reactionary centrist logic is simple: if the left does something bad it’s the left’s fault, and if the right does something bad, it’s also the left’s fault for making them do it. It’s a simple formula and once you see it every one of their arguments is the same

I’m listening to Bob Dylan Live At Budokan which got slated by critics when it was released in 1978/79 and is still ‘divisive’ among fans and I’ve just realised why I like it so much: It’s basically Bob Dylan doing his back catalogue in an Elvis in Vegas style. He also sounds like he’s having fun.
