Vive La France ?
"Our nuclear deterrent is self-sufficient, French from start to finish. Ever since 64 it has helped keep Europe safe and peaceful. However, after Merz's historic call, I have decided to open up discussion on using it to protect our allies throughout Europe." — Macron. #StandWithUkraine #EuropeanArmy

JD, what do you think about freedom of speech in Europe now? Is that okay with you now?
...Dumbass...
French Senator Claude Malhuret:

"Washington has become Nero’s court, with an incendiary emperor, submissive courtiers and a jester high on ketamine... We were at war with a dictator, we are now at war with a dictator backed by a traitor."

When the Germans are so eager to loosen the EU wallet, the world should start to tremble. Lets all hope this goes in good direction....
Germany is pushing Brussels to reform freshly agreed fiscal rules to allow for greater defense spending, marking a dramatic policy shift driven by transatlantic developments.
Germany wants looser fiscal rules to meet Europe’s defense challenge
Once Europe’s most influential fiscal hawk, Berlin is now leading the charge for greater fiscal flexibility.

This is probably that "freedom of speech" that Europe is sorely lacking.
Trump here is is referring to pro-Palestine protests so you won’t hear a peep from conservatives or even pro-Israel liberals. But just imagine if this was Biden referring to ‘illegal protests’ by conservative students or pro-life groups. Free speech brigade would be going mad!

Vance is a prime example of the fact that the suit does not make the man.
What a creature. 🤢
"Some random country that hasn't fought a war in 40 years..."

Over 500 dead British and French personnel (more than 1,000 total European fatalities) and c10,000 injured in Afghanistan 2001-2021. The only time Article 5 has been invoked.

'Disrespect' does not reside in lack of a suit, Mr Vance. ~AA

I am waiting for Trump's new announcement that America is sending humanitarian aid to Russia for war-affected areas. Historic betrayal by USA.
US President Donald Trump has paused military aid to Ukraine following his clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy last week, a White House official said, deepening the fissure that has opened between the one-time allies reut.rs/41kVbpP
Trump pauses all US military aid to Ukraine after angry clash with Zelenskiy
The White House had no immediate comment on the scope and amount of aid affected or how long the pause would last.

Sometimes I have to consciously remind myself that Russia has a similar GDP to Italy. Kudos to Italy, but Russia's GDP is $2.2 trillion
EU's GDB is $16.6 trillion.

Russia spends $145 billion on defense, EU spends €326 billion...

How to turn an ally into strategic rival? Is it possible that Trump could bring EU closer together?
EU countries commit to joint drone, missile and warship development
Defence spending is set each €326 billion (1.9% of EU GDP) in 2024, but despite the increase in military spending, national efforts alone are not enough for the EU to be ready for high-intensity warfa...
