The only principled stance is to punish Russia into retreat: militarily, economically, diplomatically. Let the future imperialists see what becomes of invaders.

It's a mark of our moral disintegration that there's even a discussion about Ukraine giving up land. To even countenance it is to reward colonialism.

For decades its been normal to hve over £20b headroom.
To argue we shouldn't try & lift 100's of 1000's of kids out of poverty is grotesque.
The Greens Zack Polanski making hay over this is grotesque too.
That's populism for u.All ego, grandstanding while serious ppl methodically, work for change.
For months RW scream "Lab ruined economy"
Now "Reeves increased taxes when the OBR said economy/finances are rosy".
Yes Lab are slowly turning economy round.
But to suggest due to a surprise extra £4bil she didn't need to increase taxes for headroom & to fix a broken country/publc services is insane

Are there any other countries whose "patriotic" publications pay foreigners to write about what a hellhole they think their country is?

Nearly a month ago the ADHD taskforce released its report on ADHD treatment

It said ADHD treatment is woeful inadequate, that Specialist ADHD treatment teams are both massively underfunded and unnecessary.

It recommended treatment is moved to GPs.

When is this going to happen?

Immigration creates jobs, supports public services, & drives growth.

These are economic facts.

How is it that the only days we *dont* have the media banging on about immigration is on the days we’re handed the budget? #r4today

Our conversation about immigration is framed entirely on Nigel Farage’s terms.
Labour has completely capitulated the ground to the far right, the racism & the hate.

We no longer have a conversation AT ALL about how we need immigration & when we cut it, we pay the price. #r4today

Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

And the next time you have Farage on, please ask him directly:

…what were the motivations behind this?

Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study explains it:

a 6–8% hit to GDP – that's £180bn-£240bn a year – means less tax, less investment and less money for everything else.

Brexit made Britain poorer. Much poorer.

I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.

Should Gibb be sacked? yes, obviously. He's an abomination of basic journalistic standards. His GB News channel spreads conspiracy theory & disinformation. His Jewish Chronicle newspaper spreads invented stories. He is plainly trying to undermine the BBC so it's as bad as everything else he touches.

Everything on our news agenda is being driven by a corrupted disinformation machine, run by a billionaire who sponsors Tommy Robinson and who keeps trying to foment civil war in the UK.

And incredibly our MPs & news providers stay there.

THAT is the problem. Not some bad editing choice on the BBC.
