There’s lot of Covid going around at the moment, again. I don’t qualify for NHS jabs, which are now very restricted, but I just paid £90 for one at my local pharmacy. As a freelancer, that’s a lot less expensive than having to take a week or two off if I get ill, let alone risking long term issues.

Also, many people on benefits due to illness/disability are no longer eligible for the NHS booster.... many are now (more) worried about catching covid, but can't afford to go private

Ex-Tory, Reform councillor cosying up to proven racists and fraudsters and spreading lies to stir up hate in her community..... shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone

🤦‍♂️ Just read that Simon Wessley will be vice chair of a Labour investigation into whether mental health and neurodivergence issues are being overdiagnosed.......Ask anybody with #MEcfs how that's likely to go

To be pedantic, it's only the English public who generally votes Conservative

Considering there's an almighty battle going on between Plaid Cymru and Reform in #Caerphilly, everything seemed very quiet and calm yesterday with #CaerphillyCastle looking very majestic

A large, partly ruined castle sits at on the opposite side of an expanse of calm water and below a pale blue, thinly clouded sky

Our next pod takes apart the Senedd reform package which sees expansion to 96 members and a new - and universally unpopular - voting system.

So why are the Welsh Conservatives talking about numbers? Lauren, Lee and @lauramcallister30.bsky.social have different takes! #Senedd26 #Cymru #Wales

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

Did Laura Anne Jones, currently the only Reform Ms, not want to contribute to this debate? 🤔

This is Reform's only Senedd Member Laura Anne Jones.

She is very angry about the Wales' Nation of Sanctuary that mainly supports Ukrainian refugees.

However she didn't always feel this way. Here are two speeches she has given where she says opposite things.

"heavily redacted" is an understatement
A page of the advice, so heavily redacted that the only information is the title"PIP Case Examples, Case Example 1" and the page number, "18".

Welsh Labour has been ridiculed on social media after claiming that an independent Wales would cost every single person £7,000 a year ✍️Martin Shipton wp.me/p8Mk4U-16O7

Dirty, and inept, tactics....voting Plaid will not automatically lead to Independence, certainly not in 1 term. Labour have consistently let Wales down, it's time to give someone else a chance and Plaid are the only sane alternative

It is very difficult, indeed almost impossible, to find good coverage of Welsh politics. @willhaycardiff.bsky.social newsletter is always worth reading.

The level of hypocrisy shown by Welsh Conservatives here is breathtaking .....and depressing
