I think it's a bit of a shame that "init systems"/pid1s aren't viewed with the same respect as kernels. They're actually quite astonishing parts of a "complete computer". I might not be a fan of systemd, but it demonstrably untangled a part of Linux systems allowing for more reproducible booting.

I'm not sure if I'm just being shitty but after learning that the person puppeteering Zentreya seems to be a cis man I've kind of got the ick around Zen's whole identity. It's not exactly queerbaiting, but it doesn't sit right with me.
