We have this great economic engine in America that produces tremendous wealth, but also externalities of extreme poverty, disabled workers, and alienation. Programs like SNAP benefits are the equivalent of "making your kids pick up their plate" after a meal. It's literally the least we can do.

My heart is broken about this news about Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. Rob was such a good and passionate person and you couldn’t find a better Democrat. He has left a tremendous legacy of fighting for good. I’m so grateful for his support over the years. May he and Michele Rest in Peace.
