Johnson and Cena are two of the great modern action heroes and come from this world and are now bankers (or were) for Hollywood. & of course the rise of himself and by proxy Linda McMahon to a cabinet position means the think pieces about this world have finally emerged in recent times.

I have a ton of unworked out thoughts abt the way in which pro-wrestling has always been derided as fake, as if it isn't something deeply rooted to an entire culture of popular entertainment and make-believe. Often wonder if it's why it's become such a compelling topic for Hollywood in recent times?

Are we going to give people with no experience and knowledge the job of running things? The point isn't whether it can be automated... But what knowledge is lost _by_ automating. And god help me, surely that also means losing the raisin d'etre of the businesses and their management.

So the thing i don't understand about this thinking is.... If there are no people working in businesses at entry level, who will there be to learn the business and progress through it? Who is there to manage? Why have a CEO at all? I'm the CEO of this one neat AI trick?

You don’t actually have to both sides this. The Jewish community in the UK is not the Israeli government. You can just condemn the murder of two British Jews killed in their place of worship and you don’t have to say a single other thing.
