Less than 2% of DC residents play golf. It costs $48 to play 18 holes on the weekend. But almost all of Hains Point is crowded out by - not 18 - but 36 holes to play golf. A few duffers with the $$$ don't have to drive somewhere with more land. What a waste of public space that 10,000s could use.
