Since the Liquid Glass update of iOS, switching between apps has been such a pain in the ass. You use an app, switch to another app for six seconds, go back to the first app and it completely reloads like you’re opening it for the first time. Or it might not! It’s a fun game. Fun!

I wrote “whoa” in a note to my 10 year old and they not only argued that I spelled it wrong but that they’ve never seen it *not* spelled “woah” in their entire life.

Last week I interviewed for a position that I was told would have two tech interviews (in addition to the quick tech screening test I’d already done) plus three culture interviews. The level of relief when they emailed to say they don’t like me enough for all that noise. My god.

I’m currently packing for a quick trip to RI mainly to attend my grandmother’s 100th birthday party and I can’t stop thinking how that is just a bananas long time to be alive. For real, it’s just a stupid long time to be doing the dumb shit we all have to do every day, day after day.
