I’ve somehow ended up with two copies of this on Blu-Ray and I’m still looking at the new 4K of it too. Absolute cinema.

TX001 will be NIGHT OF THE JUGGLER, an action-packed thrill ride through the scuzzy underworld of 70s NY.

Unavailable for decades, now newly restored in 4K and presented in a stunning new UHD edition packed with extras, coming Nov 17th.

At least two of the actors from this are in the BBC show Guilt. Also darkly funny and worth a watch.

Welcome to my 2025 novella recommendation thread! For the rest of the year, I am going to recommend novellas in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres for the consideration of Hugo nominators. And, crucially, these are all going to be novellas NOT published by Tor.

Soon after, when he settles in FW/Dallas he becomes friends with the Russian emigre community, as well as George De Mohrenschildt a confirmed CIA field agent. It does stink of double agent shenanigans.

The biggest question over Oswald comes with his defection to Russia and renunciation of US citizenship in 1959 after a stint in the Marines (including work at Atsugi where the U2 operated from). He returns to the U.S in ‘62 and is allowed back in with no snags at the height of the Cold War.

Blowback Season 6's trailer is out and its going to be about Angola- I'm very excited. I'm a big fan of the program and Noah Kulwin is a good friend. No one seems to have posted it on Bluesky both because it has only appeared on twitter and its more than a minute long (damn Bluesky!), so I will

Not horror as such but Cahokia Jazz is very good so far.

Seen a few folks astonished by my lack of support for ChatGPT and similar. Because AI, right?

Yeah, no. What we have right now is glorified autocorrect. Glorified autocorrect that takes the energy of an entire city to do what it does, plus half of Lake Erie to cool down while it's doing it.

Missed a chance to see her live a year ago because our daughter, Florence, was ill. The universe loves irony.
