If you care for wildlife -
Do not book with Marriott hotels.

They built a luxury hotel in Masai Mara National Park on a known migration corridor and it is now blocking the path of migrating wildlife. The videos online are so distressing.

We must do more in Cymru to ensure wildlife recovers from this current state and is able to thrive in the future. We need to think big and act fast. This rate of loss cannot continue

There’s so gorgeously clear skies above me tonight, if that’s the case for you too, this time of year is PERFECT for anyone wanting to see the stars ✨

The big fan faves are all there to see.

Right now, Taurus is visible, including the asterism which makes part of this constellation: the Pleiades

People wonder why there’s a cost of living crisis, but I just did a little budget check.

For all my bills, that are all necessary (electric, internet, insurance, rent etc) every one has gone up in the last 6 months to the point I’m down £206 extra a month without doing anything.

Jupiter is there shining bright like a beacon too!

The importance of place and native names always seems to cause such hateful division in Cymru, which I don’t understand.

It’s so sad people cannot grasp what magic it brings to landscapes to embrace their native Cymraeg names.

Let’s look at ‘The Spinnies’. A local nature reserve 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

So it's probably time to get the big coat out 🥶

So much rain coming down relentlessly all day. A5 between Tregarth and Bethesda was barely passable. A BMW started to smoke just after this and got a bit buoyant.

1.5C exceeded. More scenes like this to come, more frequently, and closer and closer to home.

Watching Labour MPs take a wrecking ball to nature makes me so angry & so sad. Their action tonight voting down amendments to the #PlanningBill intended to protect wildlife & habitats from destruction is so reckless & so counterproductive. People didn’t vote Labour for this 👇

Did you know corals time their spawning perfectly with a particular moon phase?

They wait for a few days after a full moon, in the dark of the night before spawning.

Light pollution can have huge consequences for our coral reefs, and with coastal artificial light increasing, it’s a serious issue
The Great Barrier Reef is spawning. 🪸 ✨

A phenomenon Sir David Attenborough once described as “one of the greatest of all natural spectacles,” the annual event is a dazzling display presenting hope for bigger, stronger coral reefs. 💙

If this is you in a camper van, parked at Eshaness lighthouse, for the love of God, switch your lights off!

You’ve been sat with your headlights on for over 45 mins 😂

You can’t see aurora if you sit in a van with all your lights on…
November 12, 2025 at 8:54 PM
🚨AURORA🚨

Currently active and visible from the UK! If (and it’s a big if!) you have clear skies, pop out and take a look.

This is a screenshot from Shetland Webcam. I’d be very annoyed by the campervan with all its lights on!
November 12, 2025 at 8:35 PM
If you have clear skies around you (unlike me 😭) now would be a good time to go out and look north for aurora!
