I think the general public would be less affected by the flight cancellations if the cancellation of 10% of flights was effected by cancelling private and small aircraft. A 3-passenger plan or a 30-passenger plane requires equally many controllers as a 300-passenger plane.

I would urge the admirals and generals meeting at Quantico to reflect on whether their orders emerge from a sane commander in chief. I would urge them to contemplate appropriate responses to irregular orders, to remain devoted to the Constitution, and to maintain ethical courage.

1. Dictators fall when the military & police refuse to fire on the people.
2. Congress has the power to remove the President of the United States from office.
3. Armed persons in public service: be ready to say "no" to irregular orders.
4. Have courage.

So many academics are on HB-1 visas. This is another attack by #RussellVought on universities and scientific research. Stop telling me anything this administration does is in good faith or with any sort of policy goal except destruction.
Critical part of the President's new $100,000 charge for H1-B visas: The Administration can also offer a $100,000 discount to any person, company, or industry that it wants. Replacing rules with arbitrary discretion.
