My frame of reference is international students who might need to send many emails a day in a language they are learning (which I failed at as a student), not colleagues who are expecting to be compensated for competent work, so I can easily see you point as well

I will say the only people I will consider tolerating this behavior from is English as 2nd language people, like international students. I admire them trying, it’s difficult, and can be a lot easier to read for correctness than generate…. Maybe some similar other cases. But everyone else!!!!!!!!!!
