I just sent a stranger from Instagram £10 for food. A black trans woman in the US being forced to ask for food and water on social media. I hate this world sometimes.
We have each others backs but we shouldn’t have to, systems should exist to keep us fed. Taxes are paid.

So yeah, I think growth and change is great, and I’m sure his album is amazing.
But because of what he represented for me as a teenager, he won’t have my respect.
I love Earl though. I liked his newer music but only recently did I ‘get it.

I liked his music because it was real and he was real. Likely a naive perspective as I started listening as a child, but seeing him work with Louis Vuitton, and openly support Pharrel who supports Isnotreal really opened my eyes.
