BREAKING: 3 members of the Adelaide Festival Board have resigned after it refused to reverse its decision to rescind Dr Abdel-Fattah's invitation. No statement has been issued but their names have been quietly removed from the website.

Four people are now responsible for the ongoing crisis.

They doubled down on the terrible decision, and it is now tearing the board apart too

So how can ABC journalists, MPs, etc all claim to be "doing all they can to inform the public" when none of them are here?

Sorry, that doesn't gel with me. If they were truly doing "all they can to inform the public" well, they'd already be here, wouldn't they?

An out-of-control bushfire in central Victoria has destroyed at least 10 properties, leaving a small town’s main street looking “like a bomb’s gone off”, according to the local firefighting captain.

I understand the pressures on the BBC, but Radio 4's coverage of the Minneapolis shooting is an example of "bad balance".

It's all "the Trump regime says she was a terrorist, but Democrats say it was murder".

The BBC has the footage. It doesn't have to treat truth and falsehood as equally valid.

The Hume Freeway is closed in both directions between Seymour and Violet Town due to a bushfire near Longwood.

Motorists should detour via the Goulburn Valley Freeway and Violet Town-Murchison Road, allowing an extra 20 minutes for the detour.

The campaign has seamlessly pivoted from demanding the royal commission to demanding the right to handpick the commissioner, next will be the demand to dictate the terms of reference.
Despite everything we’ve seen over the past two years, this is probably the most shameful episode in Australian media history/ political collusion.

The lead story on the SMH is Albanese’s political opponent, who lost his seat, trying to force the government to back his own pick for a RC. Madness.

What a grub.
Sigh, here we go. Frydenberg would only be happy if either he or Netanyahu were appointed as the commissioner.
