I'm sorry but why is it that Trump "needs time" to fix the price of eggs but by day 7 he already rounded up all non-whites and deported them or brought them to modern day concentration camps?

Elon has been dropping Nazi references during the entire Trump campaign, and somehow people still defend him when he did a literal salute at the inauguration

what is the distinction exactly, aside from price? it's physically and chemically the same as diamonds. it also holds no purpose other than being a nice rock on your hand, so people are also fine with just buying Moissanite. everyone is just realizing that a ring doesn't have to cost that much.
Inflation has caused a generation to accept lab-grown diamonds rather than real ones. De Beers is now sitting on $2 billion in unsold inventory.

Lab-grown diamonds are priced at roughly 1/20th of a natural stone. Young people increasingly don’t care about the distinction or can’t afford to.

saying mined diamonds are better than lab grown is like saying fossil fuels are better than renewables
"oh you can't make more of fossil fuels so the resale value will only go up!!" see how stupid that is?

and somehow still can't be bothered to even show up in Clacton!!!
Nigel Farage earned £571,585 from his nine outside jobs in six months - more than 10 times his MP salary for the same period. Truly a man of the people.

Reform UK suddenly losing 12 members for "autocratic" leadership when they literally signed up for a company. Can't wait for the Musk buyout arc

The far right casually chants "woke" when something requires them to show a small bit of compassion and now that word will never be taken seriously

Genuinely confused as to why politicians still talk about trickle down economics as if it's a valid strategy and not a poorly made excuse to give more money to rich people? Liz Truss tried that and will be forever known for running the country into the ground

If I had a nickel every time a sandwich influenced British politics, I'd have two - It's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice
The British right wing have started to fight each other over food now and I am here for it.

Tories are so funny because they always have to prove that they're so fundamentally opposed to everything Labour, Kemi Badenoch can't even handle the fact that someone in the opposing party likes sandwiches
Keir Starmer's spokesman says the PM was "surprised" to hear Kemi Badenoch condemn sandwiches and say she "has a steak brought in for lunch" instead.

Says Starmer "is quite happy with the sandwich lunch," which he describes as a "Great British institution"

Says he likes a "tuna sandwich or toasty"
