I know I’m a homer but this was the most quintessentially McQuade story. Perfect idea, perfect execution. Dan was the only person on Earth who could’ve written this.
It builds off other odd Streets Dept. stuff, like when two days before the storm the recycling truck took every other house's trash, while the trash truck never came.

What I find bizarre is that all the east-west side streets by us are plowed, and virtually none of the north-south ones are.
