I’ve never seen the Century Park bike parkade this busy! Especially in January
This is doubly impressive given that to access it you have to go downtown and fill out a form that the service center people don’t even know exists, to get a blank white card that only works at this one place

I would be very interested to see changes in traffic counts along these three roads pre/during/post valley line construction...
My thoughts are maybe we don't need 3 multi-lane arterial roads within 1km...

Where are you starting that route from? the Capital Line South extension is only going to Ellerslie Rd in Phase 1, so WAY further away than that.
The 727 which it will connect to will get you to the library in 7 mins tho!

Very interested what comes of the route 7 when the Valley Line West opens
It follows a similar route, but since it has local stops it could be a great ridership builder
My main hope is we see frequent service on 107 ave all the way to 101 street

No offence to Edmonton, but I sorta assumed BART would be operating on an order of magnitude higher boardings than our LRT

This is the planned alignment. I think it's gonna have such incredibly high ridership if done well.
It upgrades one of our busiest transit corridors, and provides access to an incredibly isolated retail street on Calgary Trail. The key will be to actually speed up buses, not just build pretty stops

There are 6000 people in this neighbourhood, and the bus route sees not even 600 rides a day. With a station going here, it will either force what was once a one-seat ride to the grocery store to be a transfer, or have a competing bus route with the LRT

I am still of the opinion that Twin Brooks should not be getting an LRT station
It is a rich single family neighbourhood that will not see densification
Is too isolated for it to improve any regional trips
It will slow down trips for the rest of the line
